The rising cost of healthcare can be devastating to families, and we need to
address it immediately. It’s a complicated issue, but there is a clear place we
can start: prescription drug prices. 

Families are struggling to balance their checkbooks as they decide whether to
purchase medicine, pay their utilities or put food on the table. We all deserve
better. The system is broken. We need leaders in Washington who will do what’s
best for the people, not their special interest donors.

It’s time to let Medicare bargain for lower drug prices (like Medicaid can)
and slash the high cost of prescription drug costs. Add your name to our

treatment plans. Instead of taking medicine as directed, they ration it, along
with utilities and food, just to make it through.
