Friend,

Elections experts rank Wisconsin among the top three Senate races most likely to flip next year, and my friend Mandela Barnes is the candidate who I believe will get the job done.

If you’re ready to flip Wisconsin blue and expand our Democratic Senate majority, I’m personally asking you to split a contribution between Mandela Barnes and my campaign today. Your contribution makes a real difference.

Mandela is more than just a candidate or even Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor — he is an advocate and activist who fights for racial justice, climate action, gun violence prevention, equal economic opportunity, and so much more.

He grew up in one of the most impoverished zip codes in Milwaukee. Both of his parents were active union members who impressed upon him the importance of hard work and equal opportunity for all. The fights we are currently taking on in the Senate — for work with dignity and fair wages, the right to bargain collectively in a union, and to protect our rights no matter what the GOP throws in our way — are fights Mandela has known his entire life.

Mandela ran for Lt. Governor of Wisconsin to create meaningful change and a more equitable future for everyone. He made history as the first Black Lt. Governor to be elected in the Badger State and continues to be a powerful advocate by navigating the COVID-19 pandemic and leading a climate action task force.

Friend, Mandela is exactly the kind of person we need standing by my side in the U.S. Senate. This year, we have a real opportunity to flip Wisconsin blue, and I need your support to do it.

Can you please split a donation to my and Mandela's campaigns to help protect and expand our slim Democratic majority in the Senate?

It’s people like Mandela and all of you reading this who give me hope for our chances in the midterm elections and for creating a better future.

Thanks for everything.
