Friends,

Friday is the most important day yet in our campaign to flip TX-23 blue. That’s because it’s the official FEC fundraising deadline for 2021, and when the month ends, we are legally required to report what we raised and how many donations we’ve received.

I hope you’ll let me explain why that’s so important, but if you’re already with us, you can chip in $5 now →

When John’s fundraising numbers become public, Trump-Republican Tony Gonzales and his special interest allies will know exactly how much we’ve been able to raise, and we need to show them we’re ready for a fight.

That’s why we are setting our most ambitious goal yet: 1,000 individual donations to our people-powered campaign. As of today, we have 906.

I’ll be honest: This won’t be an easy goal to reach, but we know this grassroots team can get us there. Donating any amount, even $5, will get us one contribution closer to hitting this goal before our FEC deadline ends, and we’re legally required to report our fundraising numbers.

Can you please make a contribution of any amount to help us reach our goal of 1,000 individual donations before our FEC deadline on Friday?

-------------
John Lira is the son of a Mexican American family of four in southeast San Antonio, a United States Marine Corps veteran, a dedicated father and husband, a devoted parishioner at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, and a proud Texan. He's running for Congress because he believes Texans deserve more than political posturing.

The Democratic House majority is hanging by a thread, and this is one of the most flippable seats in the country. We need all hands on deck to bring this thing home. Will you rush a donation now?
