First, the good news:
Right now we have more donations in December than we did by this point in
November. That's amazing — and it's all because lots and lots of people
are chipping in to defeat the fossil fuel industry.
   Now, some bad news:
Our average donation this month has dipped to around $20, and we're a bit
behind where we need to be to reach our $850,000 End of Year fundraising
   goal.
We are incredibly proud that our movement is funded by everyday people
around the globe chipping in what they can, when they can. But the truth
is that the lower average means we need even more donations to keep pace.
   Since you haven't made
an online donation yet, we are hoping you can make your first one today.
It'd mean a lot to us, especially during this critical month for our
   organization.

goal while putting us in a position to defeat the fossil fuel industry.
   John, we are
funded in large part by grassroots donations. That's important. Because
that is how we will build the global movement we need to ensure a healthy
   and habitable planet.
Thank you for chipping in today to
   make that possible.
   In solidarity,

P.S. We know that these are challenging times and not all of us are able
to donate right now. You can still provide vital support by encouraging
friends and family to join the climate movement and continue taking action
with 350.org. We're all in this together.
