Friends,

Last winter, we lost over 200 of our fellow Texans to an energy crisis caused by extreme weather, failing infrastructure, and inept government response. We must not let it happen again.

While the storm that caused the crisis couldn’t have been prevented, the response by leaders in our state left much to be desired. And with climate change anticipated to cause more severe weather events in coming years, we remain at risk unless we take action.

To stop this from happening again, we must invest in building smart energy infrastructure, reform state government agencies, and get serious about climate change.

But I also want to hear from you, friend: Will you take my survey on infrastructure, energy, and climate? It will only take 60 seconds, and your response will inform the issues I advocate for in my campaign.

I’m looking forward to reading your response – thank you!
