Remember Scott Perry, John?

He's a current U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania, and has been present at every step of the Big Lie – and now he's refusing to speak up for our democracy.

In January, he admitted to introducing Trump to Philadelphia attorney Jeffrey Clark, who would eventually become a sympathetic figure in the Justice Department to those supporting Trump's false election claims. Trump would later go on to install Clark as attorney general and kickstart the Big Lie by pressuring Georgia to reverse the election results. Perry knew and was complicit in this plot.

Then in September, Perry made a show of publicly defending the insurrectionists, calling them "peaceful" and defending their instigation of the riot.

Now in December, Perry became the first sitting lawmaker the House select committee asked to voluntarily sit down for an interview to discuss his role in the January 6th attack. As of Monday, he also became the first sitting lawmaker to refuse to cooperate with the committee by refusing to participate in the interview.

It's only a matter of time before we find out what Perry is hiding.

If we want to protect our democracy, it's essential to uncover the full truth about January 6 and the Big Lie. Scott Perry must fulfill his duty to the American people and our country by telling the truth. Do you agree?
