Friend,

With the holiday season in full swing, here's a quick update on where things stand with our campaign. It's important to me that you're kept in the loop.

We're traveling the state -- meeting with community organizations, labor unions, farmers, small business owners, and anyone who believes Iowa deserves better leadership.

I know we have what it takes to win this. I can tell you from six years in the legislature, that there's no future for our state if we don't work to win now. That's why we're laying the groundwork for next year's election right now, as early as possible.

Running a campaign that touches every corner of our state takes time and money. We're investing everything we've got into this race, but we need to make up a gap in our fundraising numbers before we're due to report at the end of the month.

Can you please take a look at where we've been this past month in the photos below, then consider chipping in $3 to our end-of-year goal? Thanks in advance.

It was great to take part in the Iowa Summit on Justice and Disparities. We have no shortage of solutions, but we need to build the movement to win them.

Thank you Fayette County Democrats for the warm welcome, great discussions, and ridiculously delicious caramels.

Workers' rights are about putting Iowans first. Thank you to the Des Moines area labor leaders for the opportunity to discuss our Bill of Rights.

Stopped by Voices Studios last night in Dubuque to meet with new friends and learn more about how locals are building community through art. Loved the piece artist Thérèse Mulgrew was working on, too!

Thank you to the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) for the opportunity to learn about how to be a better partner in your work building economic vibrancy and workforce development in Iowa and the rest of the Midwest.

Loved these cookies from Rocket Bakery at a campaign event in Waterloo. Who said campaigning can't be fun?

Thanks for reading this until the end. We're grateful for all of the support you've provided to our campaign.

If you're interested in making your very first donation of $50, $25, or even just $5 -- we'll put it to good use reaching more Democrats and undecided voters across the state.Donate >> [link removed]
