URGENT NEED: TRAINING FUND 2020
Here at Lillian's List, we train both women who are ready to run for public office and the campaign staff and volunteers who will help them run winning campaigns.
This year, we are hosting our fourth Jamie Kirk Hahn Academy, an intensive three-day training for the next generation of progressive leaders. Trainees will gain skills in everything from polling to communications and leave with the knowledge and drive to power 2020 campaigns.
We urgently need to raise $5,000 for our Training Fund to make sure our trainings are successful. JKH, our biggest training of the year, kicks off on Friday, November 22. Can you make a gift of $15, $35, or more today?

The JKH Academy was named in memory of Jamie Kirk Hahn, an amazing progressive leader that NC lost too soon. Thank you to Jamie's mom, Debra Funderbunk, for making the first gift to the Training Fund in her honor.
REDISTRICTING AND RECRUITING
We're almost out of the woods in terms of legislative redistricting in North Carolina. Last week, a three-judge panel has approved the Senate maps so we have one chamber settled. While the court also approved the recently redrawn House maps, the plaintiffs in the case still have the option of appealing that ruling to the NC Supreme Court.
What does this mean for Lillian's List? It means that we are in the homestretch of recruiting progressive women who are champions of reproductive rights to run for the NCGA and Council of State. Overall, we are recruiting for 23 competitive seats, 14 in the House and 9 in the Senate. We are also looking at 13 safe seats. We still have one month until candidate filing opens, but there are already 10 women who have announced or let us know they're running. We can't wait to introduce you to our next round of Featured Candidates.
