This one is important, because historically December is a tough month for fundraising. Especially in the second half of the month when people understandably tune out politics and focus on enjoying the season with loved ones.

But that means we really need a strong first half of the month to hit our goals. Because while many are taking well-deserved time away from work, those spending big to beat us are not. They see this as an opportunity, and they're not letting up.

So we still need about 5,000 donations TODAY to reach our goals. My friend Tim Kaine has an incredible group of supporters like you who have helped him secure victories again and again -- and I'm grateful for the opportunity to reach out to you today with this request.
