Two of America's biggest and most prosperous states, Texas and Florida, are
magnets for businesses, workers, and opportunity thanks to one huge factor –
they don't have a state income tax.

 

Why shouldn't Wisconsin join them?

Momentum is building for this idea – it's up to US to keep our foot on the gas
pedal!

 

Earlier this week, a UW-Madison economics professor found that eliminating the
income tax (along with other changes) would increase employment in our state
without adding to the overall tax burden for Wisconsinites.

 

Thanks to conservative budgeting and Republican leadership over the past
decade, Wisconsin sees budget surpluses year after year. Now, it's time to make
a change that will help our economy AND do right by the taxpayers.
