John,

This campaign has been an incredible journey, and it all comes down to what we do tomorrow on Election Day.

I hope you will sign up for a Get Out the Vote (GOTV) shift right now. We need your support to call voters and remind them to vote. And we also need your help with visibility across District 5 tomorrow. <[link removed]>

This is promising to be a real nail-biter of an election, so every single vote counts.

With the election tomorrow, I’m reflecting on how far we have all come. Together, we’ve knocked on over 25,000 doors (TWICE), made tens of thousands of calls and texts to our neighbors, and spent countless hours sharing our vision for a better San Francisco. Thank you for making this all possible.

For me, personally, I never could have imagined I would run for public office. As a kid who grew up poor and spent months at a time living in a van, just having a roof over my head was a victory in itself.

But when I moved to San Francisco in 1985, I truly found my home, my community, and then my calling. Community action and activism — neighbors coming together block-by-block and street-by-street — is how we make lasting change and build stronger, more resilient, and more just communities.

This belief has driven my work from our neighborhoods to City Hall and back again. And I’ve seen the best of our community in this campaign. I’ve worked alongside so many passionate San Franciscans who feel just as strongly as I do about the importance of fighting for a future where everyone can afford to live here, where nobody is forced out onto the streets, where City Hall truly lives up to the promise of our shared progressive, San Francisco values.

This future is within our grasp if we work our hearts out over the next 31 hours before the polls close tomorrow.

Please sign up for a Get Out the Vote (GOTV) shift right now. <[link removed]>

Working with you this past year has been an awesome and humbling experience. I am so touched by every single person who gave their time, their voice, their endorsement, and their financial support to this campaign. I know you did it, not just for me, but for this incredible city we all love so much.

We’ve only got 31 hours left to make sure all that hard work translates into a victory.

I hope I’ll see you at headquarters tomorrow. Thank you so much.

P.S. After the polls close, please join us for our Election Night party at The Church of 8 Wheels. Thanks again for everything you’ve done. <[link removed]>
