When Democrats Turn Out

Hi there,

We’re just about a year out from the 2020 election that will determine the future of the presidency, but many states and local communities will be voting this month on a range of positions that are just as important.

Local and state governments have immense power over our everyday lives, from changing zoning and affordable housing laws to funding schools and road repairs. These elections are so often ignored and receive low voter turnout because they don’t have flashy candidates and national press coverage. But these new state governments will be the ones to determine redistricting in 2020 and will impact more than a decade of state and national politics through that redistricting.

Please sign this pledge and promise to vote in your November 2019 elections. We need as many Democrats as possible to turn out and vote now so that our local and state governments reflect our progressive values.
