With the celebration of Christmas right around the corner, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your support for NC Values Coalition and the Institute for Faith & Family! Because of your prayers, financial support, and investment in our work, we’ve accomplished a lot this year, but we have more work to do!



This Advent season, as we celebrate the birth of Christ, who came to earth as a tiny infant to rescue us from sin and death, it is fitting that we have the opportunity to protect innocent unborn babies in America from the scourge of abortion. The landmark case of Dobbs vs. Jackson Whole Woman’s Health has presented to the Supreme Court the opportunity to overturn Roe vs. Wade and send the question of abortion back to the States. On December 1st, I stood with pro-life advocates from across the country on the Supreme Court steps to show our commitment to life. Our sister organization, the Institute for Faith & Family, filed one of the 81 Amicus Briefs (friend of the court briefs) in the case on the side of life. We are all in—fully invested in this watershed moment which the pro-life movement has worked towards for 50 years. We have worked hard, and now we’re praying that the Supreme Court overturns Roe, sending the issue to the states so voters can decide.

We have an uphill battle in front of us in North Carolina. Our state legalized abortion 49 years ago by statute, and we’ll have to work hard to repeal that law and protect life. But the NC Values Coalition is here to lead the way to making North Carolina pro-life once again. We commit to doing everything in our power to make sure that happens! As we celebrate the birth of baby Jesus, imagine all those babies in the womb who can be saved and help us return North Carolina to being pro-life by supporting our work!





In the coalition this past year, we have championed seventeen pieces of legislation that advance faith, family, and freedom in North Carolina, with several of these pieces of legislation originating from our team’s hard work and legal expertise. Our hard work has:



- Supported Parents and Children in Schools

- Supported Children and Healthcare Workers 

- Supported Life

- Supported Family

- Provided Legal Support for Religious Liberty

- Begun Preparation for the 2022 Election

Because of your prayers, support, and your investment in our work, we’ve made some real advances this year, but there is more work to do. As you can see around you, we have our work cut out for us to continue protecting and advancing Biblical values. We live in a world that is increasingly hostile to our faith, so we must be proactive.
