Last week, President Biden hosted a Summit for Democracy which brought together world leaders from over 100 countries to set an agenda for democratic renewal and tackle the greatest threats to democracy.

This summit comes as the Freedom House's latest assessment of democracy reported 15 years of decline worldwide. Since 2015, the number of democracies across the globe has shrunk from 104 to 98. And it's not just a problem abroad -- the United States has been labeled a "backsliding democracy."

Unfortunately, this downgrade doesn't come as a surprise. Donald Trump and his allies spent months attacking our democracy and spreading lies about the 2020 election results. And we're approaching the one year anniversary of the violent insurrection at our Capitol followed by 147 Republicans voting against the results of a free and fair election.

As President Biden said after the January 6 insurrection, "Democracy doesn't happen by accident. We have to defend it, fight for it, strengthen it, renew it." That's what we're doing here at Never Again PAC by working to defeat the Republicans in Congress who are a danger to our democracy, but we need your help.
