The Supreme Court used to recognize the progressive values of our Constitution and country -- they upheld women’s rights, affirmed gay marriage, and ordered desegregation nationwide. But after #MoscowMitch blocked President Obama’s final Supreme Court nominee from being confirmed and cemented a GOP majority on the bench for a generation with Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, the Court has upheld restrictions to abortion and allowed Trump’s Muslim ban. Now, the justices are poised to allow LGBTQ discrimination based on religious beliefs.
