The People's Alliance PAC endorsement meeting is POSTPONED!

The meeting will NOT take place on January 22.

The NC Supreme Court ordered that the 2022 primary election, scheduled for March 8, be delayed to May 17. This order is part of a court case that alleges that the US congressional districts as well as the NC House and Senate districts are gerrymandered in a way that violates North Carolinians' right to participate in free and fair elections. These allegations will have their day in court within the next several weeks.?

In the same order that postponed the election date, the NC Supreme Court also ordered that candidate filing be paused. We do not know when candidate filing will resume.?

As a result, your People's Alliance PAC must pause the 2022 endorsement process. This includes postponing the endorsement meeting, which was scheduled to take place on January 22.

People's Alliance PAC coordinators will share the new date for the endorsement meeting with you by email, post it on the PA PAC website, and share it on Facebook when we know when candidate filing will take place.

Thank you for your patience as we all watch the courts to see how they will address gerrymandering in this most recent round of redistricting.
