As you probably know, the California Citizens Redistricting Commission is working on Congressional district maps for the next decade. If the most recent drafts hold, our current district will be split up, and the lines will change dramatically throughout our entire region.

We're preparing for an extremely competitive race next year and the need to communicate with tens of thousands of new voters. We can't waste any time.

We need to *dramatically increase* the size of our field campaign at the start of the new year, so we set a goal of raising $35,000 to jump start our efforts to hire more staff, open a new field office, and train volunteers. Many people don't know this, but we're one of the only Democratic campaigns in the country that runs a year-round voter outreach program.

It's simple: We can't expect to win if we're trying to persuade voters at the last minute. We're constantly communicating with undecided voters about their priorities, and we've created a feedback loop directly to Mike that helps guide his actions in Washington.

That's how we flipped our current seat back in 2018. We're planning to apply the same tactics with new voters once the maps are set. But we need your help to do it.
