Hey team, our October fundraising numbers just came in, and we have bad news -- unfortunately, we fell short of our goal.

Refusing corporate PAC money is a hard way to run a campaign.

It means fighting every day to earn your trust, and building our campaign fund from $5, $10, and $15 donations.

It's important that we do this, because for decades, politicians tailored their platforms to cater to the special interests who bankrolled their campaigns. That meant that working class Americans -- like my family and me -- were left in the dust, with our representatives unwilling to stick up for the issues that mattered the most to us.

I don't regret refusing corporate PAC money, because that means the only people I'm accountable to are the voters of GA-07.

But that means we need you to step up and help us out -- and right now, we need your help more than ever to bring our fundraising numbers back to where they should be.

I'll need to kick my fundraising into high gear this month to make up for the fact that we didn't hit our goals in October. Can you help me out with a donation of whatever you can give so I can stay in this race? >>

I'm running for Congress to fight for women's reproductive rights, Medicare and Medicaid, and stronger gun safety regulations. This platform is designed with you in mind, NOT corporate interests and Wall Street bigwigs.

I hope you'll stand with me so we can keep our movement going.
