We just got a wild update in our race, and this time it’s actually some good news: Trump ally Rep. Devin Nunes announced last night he’s not going to run against Josh, and instead he’s RESIGNING! Yep, he’s leaving Congress to become the CEO of Trump’s new social media company. Can’t make it up.

So, what does this mean for Josh?

First off, it means the floodgates are now back open to other Republicans looking to flip our seat. We’ve heard a bunch of different names floated and they are all as extreme (or more!) than Nunes. We definitely have a fight ahead no matter what.

We also know that GOP Super PACs and dark money groups have a bullseye on our district and are prepared to spend tens of millions of dollars to buy a Congressman who will do their will.

Finally, we know that with final redistricting maps right around the corner, we have to prepare right now to introduce Josh to thousands of new voters.
