Devin Nunes is resigning from Congress. And while I may think Devin Nunes is an insurrectionist and a coward, it doesn't mean we don't have some memories from the last few years (when he wasn't too busy trying to sue a Twitter cow and being one of the biggest enablers of Trump).

There was 2018, when I went to the Central Valley to hold a Town Hall in Devin's district because he was too afraid to face his constituents. Or that time when he created his own fake news website, "The California Republican," to spread disinformation about me. And I could never forget when Devin threatened to sue me for saying that he "knowingly conspired to undermine our own government," when that was in fact exactly what he did. That’s when I told Devin’s attorney to "shove it."

Ah, what fond memories.

While I wish that Devin's resignation meant the end of him trying to destroy our Democracy, it doesn't. He's going to work for the Trump propaganda machine, where he'll certainly continue to wreak havoc.

And that means we need to be ready to fight back -- not just against Devin, but against whatever extremists decide they want to carry on his legacy.
