Here’s the bottom line: Medicare for All doesn’t cost money. It saves money by eliminating the for-profit waste in the insurance system.

John,

Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s proposal to finance Medicare For All isn’t just moral―it’s popular.

New polling from Data for Progress shows that the key financing mechanisms of Sen. Warren’s plan are supported by 57% of all voters, and even have the support of one in three Republicans!1

If there’s one thing that politicians can read, it’s polls.

SIGN NOW: 2020 Democrats should wholeheartedly support Medicare for All!

Moderate, “no we can’t” Democrats need to take a step back and realize that their advocacy on behalf of a broken status quo will cause voters to stay home, and could ensure Trump’s re-election.

And we know that Trump’s “fun second term project” is to privatize Social Security and destroy Medicare and Medicaid. We need big, popular ideas to win in 2020―and Medicare for All fits the bill.

Tell 2020 Democratic Candidates:

"Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s bold plan to build a Medicare for All system will ensure that every American gets the high quality health care they deserve while combating runaway inequality. This is a framework that advances the stated goals of every 2020 Democratic candidate. Embrace Medicare for All!"

John,

If you’ve sat through the 2020 Presidential debates, you’ve seen moderators and so-called “moderate” candidates try to pigeonhole Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren on how Medicare for All will be paid for. Sen. Sanders wrote the damn bill, now Sen. Warren has released a plan that should shut up the concern trolls for good.

There’s a lot of good stuff in her plan, from administrative savings, a wealth tax on billionaires, and taxing the investment income of the 1%. But here’s the bottom line: Medicare for All doesn’t cost money. It saves money by eliminating the for-profit waste in the insurance system. The real question about Medicare for All is who gets the savings?

ADD YOUR NAME: Medicare for All saves money, improves health care, and fights inequality―so every 2020 Democrat should get on board.

Sen. Warren divvies up the savings from Medicare for All to ensure that working families and seniors receive maximum benefit. Her plan expands Medicare to include long-term care, vision, dental, and hearing, while also ending all out-of-pocket health care expenses. In short, better benefits at a lower cost.

The fact is, Medicare for All has been exposed to far more scrutiny than the so-called “realistic” plans from other candidates, that maintain the cracks in our broken health care system, ensuring that some people will fall through them.

If Democrats are serious about ensuring world-class coverage to every American, and fighting inequality, there’s no longer any excuse to hide behind. It’s time for Medicare for All.

ADD YOUR NAME: Every 2020 Democrat should support Medicare for All.

Thanks,

Alex Lawson
