I ran for Congress because the world is on fire and we need fighters at the policy-making table.

We need folks who understand and feel the urgency to address the daily concerns that Americans face as minimum wage remains stagnant and the costs of housing, higher education, and child care rise.

I grew up with a single mom who worked multiple jobs to make ends meet. We were lucky to have my grandparents there to help — but I often still had to accompany my grandmother to work because day care was too expensive.

The policies that I’m fighting for in Congress are personal. It's shameful that, in the richest country in the world, millions of kids have no choice but to go to work with their guardians.

Month after month, you’ve shown up and helped us hit our fundraising goals — so I want to acknowledge your role in ensuring I have the resources to get re-elected in 2022.

Together, we’ve shown that it’s possible to run a campaign fueled entirely by grassroots donors who are invested in seeing a new generation of working-class champions legislating in Congress.

We’ve come a long way, but we still have plenty of tough challenges ahead as we fight for policies that lighten the burden on American families and protect our democracy from the GOP and their mission to strip millions of their fundamental rights.
