You probably remember what happened last time Iowa received aid of this magnitude from the federal government (hint: it wasn't good!)

Team,

Last month, Democrats in Washington passed a $1.2 trillion infrastructure package with bipartisan support. It rebuilds roads, bridges, mass transit, and waterways, and expands broadband access.

The initiative is expected to create hundreds of thousands of family-sustaining jobs. Projects are expected to start as early as next year. Iowa is set to receive $5 billion in federal funding.

You probably remember what happened last time Iowa received aid of this magnitude from the federal government (hint: it wasn't good):

"Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds defends returning $95 million from feds for COVID testing in schools"

"Audit: Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds improperly used COVID funds for salaries"

We can't risk any more waste, fraud, and abuse from the governor when it comes to distributing and utilizing these funds. Iowans need a champion for working families, not someone who will turn around and use federal funds for their own staff salaries.

Look friend, you have my word that when I'm elected governor, I'll put Iowa first. I'll put working families first. I'll put our farmers, small businesses owners, and importantly, our kids first.

But in order to build the biggest grassroots operation possible so that we can flip Iowa blue, I need a ton of people chipping in small amounts to help us meet our upcoming end-of-year deadline. It's a BIG one, that's why I'm asking:

Will you chip in $3 -- or whatever you can -- to help me get a good start on the month of December? Anything you give goes toward reaching every Democrat and undecided voter in every corner of this state.

Thanks in advance for anything you can do.
