English Democrats Weekly Roundup

Diane Abbott has slammed The Government and called for a
“safe and legal routes” for refugees to enter the UK after 39 people
were found dead in a lorry in Essex.
She said there should be “safe and legal routes” for “genuine”
refugees to get to the UK. The unidentified victims, including a
teenager, were found dead inside the container – thought by experts to
be a refrigerated unit – at the Waterglade Industrial Park in Grays,
Essex, early on Wednesday. She called for an assurance that
“vital” co-operation on preventing people trafficking with the EU27
will not become “imperiled” when the UK leaves the EU.

Another day, another grooming gang targeting young English children
convicted. This time in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
Banaris Hussain, 36, of William Street, Crosland Moor,
Huddersfield, was found guilty of one count of rape; Umar Zaman, 31,
of William Street, Crosland Moor , was found guilty of two counts of
rape; and Samuel Fikru, 31, of HMP Armley, was found guilty of two
counts of rape, according to an official police statement. A 2013
study by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection division of the
National Crime Agency (NCA) found that 75 per cent of recorded “Type
1” group abuse in Britain is carried out by “Asian” men — which in the
British vernacular generally refers to people with roots in South Asia
rather than the Far East.

Left-wing Student union representatives at the University
of Oxford passed a motion this week to ban clapping and replace it
with silent “jazz hands” waving, insisting that applause “could
trigger anxiety”.
The motion to “mandate the encouragement of silent
clapping” proposed using the more “inclusive” British Sign Language
symbol for clapping — known as “silent jazz hands” (waving both hands
by the sides of the body at about shoulder height) — in place of
audible applause.
If you listen to the indoctrinated garbage which is spouted in the
Oxford Union, it does not bode well for the future. If they are the
best our society has to offer, then we are set for a steep
decline.

A play about Hull's most famous WWI soldier is to be staged
next month as part of fundraising efforts to raise a statue in his
honour in his hometown.
On May 3 he twice led his company against an enemy trench under
terrific rifle and machine-gun fire but was repulsed. Armed only with
a pistol and a Mills hand grenade, he finally made a dash at the
machine-gun, hoping to spare the many men in his company who were
pinned down by the deadly fire. His platoon watched as he fell while
throwing the grenade towards the machine-gun post. He was awarded the
Victoria Cross posthumously - his body was never found. The Pony
Express Theatre Company production starring Christopher Corbett as
Jack is being staged at Park Street Performing Arts Centre from
November 8 to 10.
Yours sincerely
