As you know, I am in this fight because this District means so much to me. My roots run deep here and I owe it to my family and to you – my extended family to put our needs above insider politics.

I, like you, got tired of people going to Washington and coming home with curated crises while the real needs of the District fell by the wayside in the name of partisanship. This campaign has been about so much more! It is my mission to amplify your voices in Washington and I refuse to do that without YOU.
