Yesterday, the Supreme Court heard oral argument in the case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization — one of the most important cases regarding reproductive rights in our lifetime.

A majority of justices made clear that they were skeptical of the original ruling in Roe v. Wade.

Friend, our fundamental rights are under attack.

And we will continue to see egregious attacks on our fundamental rights as long as the far-right holds a supermajority on the Supreme Court.

But all hope is not lost — Congress has changed the size of the Supreme Court seven times in the past and has the authority to expand the Court once again.

Friend, will you join me in calling on Congress to expand the Court? We must protect our reproductive freedom and our democracy. The six far-right justices are wasting no time chipping away at our rights, so it’s time to take swift action.

Since Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation last year, I’ve been fighting tooth and nail to expand the Supreme Court and save our democracy from the far-right and their anti-democratic agenda.

Earlier this year, I co-introduced the Judiciary Act of 2021 — which is legislation that will expand the Supreme Court for a total of 13 justices.

I will not stop fighting until a pro-democracy majority is restored to our nation’s highest court.
