On behalf of everyone at Send a Cow, including my team here in Kenya, I want to say a huge thank you for supporting our [Life-Changing Trees Appeal]([link removed]).

Thanks to generous donations from supporters like you to The Big Give Christmas Challenge, nearly $50,000 has been raised, which will be doubled to almost $100,000.

Here's the amazing impact your donations will have on the communities who my team and I work in partnership with in Kenya:

🥕 7,734 families in rural Kenya will be able to grow nutritious food
🌳 Over 5,000 trees will be planted
🌱 Tired land will be regenerated for years to come

Having worked with farming families in rural Kenya for four years now, I know firsthand the extraordinary impact tree planting can have for a family, and an entire community. Eunice, a farmer from Migori, is a perfect example of this.

"Currently, I have a tree nursery and sell seedlings in my local community. I plant trees to improve my environment, to grow fruit and also to feed my animals. I will tell everyone to plant plenty of trees as they are so important to humans, for our land, our animals and for income.” Eunice, Kenya

Eunice has been working with Send a Cow for three years, and she is now reaping the benefits of nutritious fruit grown in her home orchard. Eunice is a passionate advocate for life-changing trees, and has become a tree nursery operator in her community, setting up a nursery on her own farm.

I can't wait to share with you stories of success from hardworking mothers like Eunice over the coming year, as families plant more trees, regenerate the land and grow enough food for their children. Thanks again for being there for farming families in Kenya this Christmas.
