Now for the important stuff:

Today is a reminder to stand with our allies in reproductive justice everyday, but especially on this day as they fight an unconstitutional abortion ban coming out of Missisippi that made its way to the Supreme Court.

We want to make something extremely clear— this fight isn’t over until we say it’s over. And it will never, ever be over. Even if we win, the fight continues.

And if we lose in the courts, we will take to the streets.

We will occupy buildings— Senate chambers, you name it. We will shut down highways, arm in arm.

We will work underground to get people the care they need. Come for us, bounty hunters.

We will get arrested. We will raise bail funds. We will not back down.

The only thing that scares us is apathy, and there’s no time for that. Our law makers are making it harder for Black women to survive in our country. Black women are three times more likely to die during childbirth. When we prevent safe access to reproductive healthcare, we are putting lives at risk. Rich white women will find their way to a clinic and will be safe behind those closed doors. So let’s call it like it is -- abortion bans are f*cking racist.

And let’s be clear: abortion bans do not stop abortions from happening, they stop safe abortions from happening.

As a PAC operated by diverse young women, we are not afraid of using this platform to raise our voices. Young people do not stop. And we won’t stop. Because it’s our turn to lead.

It’s time for the old hats and nay-sayers who believe in respectability politics to support our radical activism and hand things over to a new generation that must be activated and empowered.

The kid gloves are off. We are ready to fight.
