We are a small, volunteer-driven, grassroots-funded operation where we direct every cent possible directly to candidates who seek to better their communities but are restricted by socioeconomic barriers.

Your gift helps our endorsed candidates obtain critical resources that they wouldn't normally have access to. This can be something as simple as a cell phone or even as necessary as a meal for their staff and interns as they work late into the evening. We know that our candidates share our progressive values and are running for office because they will fight against homelessness, poverty, food insecurity, racial injustice, and more.

BARRIER TO ENTRY PAC supports candidates and campaign staff from working class backgrounds as they carve their paths in the Democratic political space. We provide direct cash assistance for essential items like phones, cars, laptops, and living stipends -- which often times, these candidates and their campaigns don't have access to. We also serve as a resource for individual mentorship and training to ensure candidates and their staff feel supported and equipped to enter the political space.
