I appreciate all that you have done and are doing to support the America First agenda, so I wanted to share a personal story with you from my time as President Trump’s CIA Director.
I want to take you back almost four years. I’m the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency…America’s most senior spy, leading the world’s finest intelligence service, climbing out of a plane in the dark of the night. I can’t tell you exactly where I was, but it was a challenging part of the world.
I’m greeted by a member of the ground crew whose name I never knew. Imagine my surprise when he welcomed me, reached out to shake my hand and placed in it a palm-sized, tattered Bible.
When I got in my vehicle, I read the hand-written note inside it: “Mr. Director, you have been a light to me and to the world. Bless you.”
I later learned that this gentleman worked for the U.S. State Department. I had no idea I would one day become America’s 70th Secretary of State, leading him and his colleagues. But I did know that, for at least one person, I had been a light.
This little story is not about me. It’s about each of us. It is my hope that our entire nation will manifest reverence for our Lord. The challenge for each of us is to be a light, no matter where you end up.
But to do that, we need to protect religious freedom for every American.
As President Trump’s Secretary of State, I was proud to lead the charge to protect religious freedom all around the globe. No one should be attacked by their government for simply living out their faith. Working alongside President Trump, we made great progress.
Unfortunately, our work is being undone by the Democrat majority in Washington. In fact, religious freedom, especially for followers of Christ, is under increasing attack right here in the United States from our own government.
The founding of our country is deeply rooted in Judeo-Christian values, and now Americans are being criticized and attacked for standing up for those very values. It is deeply troubling.
Let’s be clear: no society can retain its legitimacy or a virtuous character without religious liberty.
That’s one of the reasons I formed a new organization, CAVPAC. Our mission is simple: champion American values. Religious freedom is one of those bedrock values that must be protected at all costs.
Through CAVPAC, I’m supporting candidates all around the country who stand for religious freedom and who will never give an inch to the “woke” mob that is trying to silence people of faith.

It’s going to take all of us working hard in our churches, our towns and in our missions across the world to promote religious freedom everywhere and always.
Religious freedom is a fundamental American value, and it must be protected at all costs.
