I could see it on the floor of the House all month. Republicans are not very happy with Democrats. They’ve been pouting, attacking Big Bird, lying about what’s in the Build Back Better Act, anything to distract from the fact that Democrats are making real progress for the American people.

You know what I think? I think they’re afraid.

They’re afraid that if Democrats are in charge for too long and able to pass legislation that benefits working families, they’ll be in trouble at the ballot box. That’s why they’re trying to stall everything and anything. Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy gave an eight-hour filibuster speech to slow down a bill that gives hearing benefits to seniors and lowers prescription drug costs.

Let’s show Republicans that they should be afraid. We can show them just how much power there is in working for working families, not the rich.
