My colleagues and I in the House made the hard decision to move the impeachment proceedings one step further. This is a deadly serious moment, but I believe that the American people deserve the truth.

It was our first formal vote as part of the impeachment inquiry. We adopted a resolution that will set procedures for the next, more public phase of the inquiry. Now the American people will get to see the facts for themselves.
