We hope you and your loved ones enjoyed a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

With the holiday behind us, we're now focused on our crucial end-of-month fundraising deadline on Tuesday at midnight. We're reaching out today because we wanted to share a little bit about what's been happening in Congress and why it's crucial we hit our goal.

Last week, the House voted to censure Representative Paul Gosar after he tweeted a video depicting violence against Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and President Joe Biden. As a result, Gosar has been removed from all committee assignments.

We're grateful that the House took this important step in holding Paul Gosar accountable, but it's not enough. The video Gosar tweeted is just the latest example of just how radical and dangerous he truly is.

We recently learned that Gosar met with planners of the January 6 insurrection and offered them blanket pardons to encourage them to plan the protests. Even with Gosar removed from committee assignments, he still holds an enormous amount of power and influence as a member of Congress.

Each day that Paul Gosar is in office, he remains a danger to our democracy. That's why it's not enough that we censure Gosar and remove him from committees, we must defeat him at the ballot box, too.

We're focused on defeating Paul Gosar and replacing him with a leader who will defend our democracy, but it won't be easy and we need your support.
