Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope you are able to take some time off today to decompress, spend time with your loved ones, or do whatever helps you practice gratitude and self care today.

This is our first Thanksgiving as a community here at Barrier To Entry, and we have so much to be grateful for— specifically, all the people in this community that have come together around this cause.

Thank you to our friends and family who helped us get this organization off the ground with $25, $50, and $100 donations. Thank you to every person who has listened to us talk about these issues on Zooms and in fundraising emails and over the dinner table. Thank you for not turning away and for being supportive any way you can. Thank you to our friends and supporters and mentors who have volunteered their talents and time to support this work in one way or another, and to all those who have provided us important feedback and guidance.

This work is making a difference, and you’re the fuel that keeps us going. With you, we will break down barriers and work to achieve an inclusive government that represents ALL.

We’re grateful for our supporters for being on this journey with us and we’re grateful for our candidates who fight for their communities every single day.

BARRIER TO ENTRY PAC supports candidates and campaign staff from working class backgrounds as they carve their paths in the Democratic political space. We provide direct cash assistance for essential items like phones, cars, laptops, and living stipends -- which often times, these candidates and their campaigns don't have access to. We also serve as a resource for individual mentorship and training to ensure candidates and their staff feel supported and equipped to enter the political space.
