Look, John, I'm never one to hold back punches when it comes to my political beliefs. You know that.

I'm well aware we may not always agree with everybody, even our loved ones, on important issues and politics. Believe me. I'm from Logan County, West Virginia, and if you think all of my family and friends agree with me on everything, you're deeply mistaken.

But tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so here's a video message of my advice for when you're stuck sitting across the dinner table from that looney uncle of yours:
 

Put disagreements aside and put politics on hold. Talk about anything else. Allow yourself to laugh and love again. Enjoy it. And let that be the beginning of the healing of this nation.
