Glenn Youngkin’s victory here in Virginia should serve as a call to Democrats all across the country: If we want to protect and expand our majorities in 2022, we need to take the action in the Senate that voters demand -- and we need to take action in our battleground states to protect Democratic seats.
This week, I'm taking some time to campaign for some of those critical seats. Today, I hope you’ll join me in supporting Senator Maggie Hassan's 2022 reelection campaign.

Keeping Maggie Hassan in the U.S. Senate isn’t just about politics. She’s a true public servant for the Granite State -- having spent her whole career fighting to expand health care access, combat the opioid crisis, and keep Americans safe from gun violence.
She’s also one of the few remaining members of Congress who are still committed to finding bipartisan solutions to national problems. In fact, Maggie has introduced more than 50 bills with Republican colleagues during her tenure.
But right now, the GOP has doubled down in their efforts to target Maggie in the upcoming midterm elections. Media outlets are saying she’s one of the most vulnerable Democrats up for reelection in the U.S. Senate.
We know how difficult it is to pass meaningful legislation with a narrow majority in Congress. We can’t afford to lose a single seat -- least of all Maggie Hassan’s.
