Yesterday, Georgia’s special redistricting session officially ended, and the results are just what we expected.

Georgia’s new congressional map is unrepresentative, unfair, and completely out of line with our state’s growth over the past few years. Georgia’s GOP leadership rushed the process and refused to give Georgians a real chance to make their voices heard.

And here’s the kicker, y’all: In a state that Democrats won with 51% of the vote last January, these new maps give the GOP control of nearly 70% of our House Districts.

From the beginning, we knew this year’s redistricting session was going to be an uphill battle. But that didn’t stop Erick from stepping up, speaking out, and fighting back against these extreme, gerrymandered maps.
