your support this Giving Tuesday will help us enact meaningful change in 2022

Friend,

The holidays are rapidly approaching… and that means Giving Tuesday is just around the corner!

This is my first Giving Tuesday as Executive Director of The Fairness Project, and I’m excited to announce that we’ve set an ambitious goal to help us ramp up our efforts headed into the new year. This Giving Tuesday, we’ve set a goal to raise $5,000 before midnight to fuel our work as we fight to win powerful ballot measure campaigns in next year’s midterms.

Will you chip in whatever you can afford right now to help us kickstart our Giving Tuesday fundraising?

2021 was a busy year for The Fairness Project. We launched our Ballot Measure Rescue Campaign to fight back against attacks on the ballot measure process by extremist legislators and special interests AND worked alongside teams across the country to run — and win — powerful ballot measure campaigns that brought:

  • A $15 minimum wage increase to Tucson, AZ residents;
  • Transparency and accountability to police misconduct through the creation of a civilian oversight board in Cleveland, OH;
  • And we helped defeat a disastrous anti-police reform measure that would cut essential services like EMS and firefighters to provide more funding to the Austin, TX police department.

I’ll be the first to say — these victories were no easy feat. Every ballot measure campaign we win is the result of years of research, education, and mobilizing voters. When we agree to take on a ballot measure campaign, we go all in — putting every resource we can towards winning that campaign.

That’s why we have a winning track record of 23 out of 24 campaigns we’ve supported. The resources supporters like you provide are what make these victories possible.

If you’re with us as we fuel up for the 2022 midterms, will you chip in whatever you can afford today to kickstart our Giving Tuesday fundraising and help us hit our $5,000 goal?

I’m grateful for your support,
