It was a stunning statement, said just one week ago, that sums up the forces we’re fighting against:
“If we are going to have one nation under God, which we must, we have to have one religion. One nation under God, and one religion under God.”
That was former national security advisor Michael Flynn, speaking to a packed crowd of White Christian Nationalists at an event for the “Reawaken America Tour.”
Events like this have been drawing masses of anti-vaccine conspiracy theorists, loyal to Trump, and on a crusade to reshape our nation and government to reflect their narrow, bigoted worldview.
John, I know you understand how dangerous it would be to leave these forces unchecked.
If you’re worried about how this energized movement of religious extremists is working to mold our government and society to reflect their anti-democratic, anti-science, bigoted, and xenophobic beliefs, then donate now to support the Center for Freethought Equality. [[link removed]]

We’re countering these forces every day to build a better government and society. One that respects the separation of church and state. One where policy is set by reason, science, and empathy, not by theism or supernatural beliefs. One where no one is ever forced to live according to someone else’s religious beliefs.
But we can’t do it without your help.
Please, don’t watch what’s happening in our country and stand by. Join us and let’s build a safer, saner, and stronger America. [[link removed]]
With gratitude for you.
