John,

Last Thursday, we had our first in-person volunteer summit where our group committed to 19 canvassing shifts on the spot! Then, we held a community canvass at the Schaumburg Community Recreation Center to talk to voters heading in to watch a play.

Our ground game is ramping up in a serious way — well before election year. But we have to keep pace. Can you contribute so we can print more campaign literature for our volunteers to hand out?

If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.

This is how we’re winning this race — by having thousands of conversations and bringing people together to fight for Medicare for All, tuition-free college, a Green New Deal, and good union jobs.

We know we’re up against a lot. Our opponent is the poster child for a “corporate politician”. He’s built up a big war chest by taking $350,000 from Big Pharma and private healthcare, $50,000 from defense contractors, and $60,000 from private utilities who benefit from monopolizing our energy systems.

But in the district, he’s constantly MIA. Illinoisans in the Eighth District are ready for someone who actually shows up and listens to their concerns.

We have the ground game and energy to build an unbreakable movement in this district — one that corporations and special interests can’t beat with money. But we need the resources to make it happen.

So please, contribute $25, 50, 100, or any amount so we can keep printing campaign literature for our volunteers.

In Solidarity,

Sheila & Elisa
Field Team
