This time last year, we were in the depths of the pandemic, a dizzying final year of the Trump Reich, and the very beginnings of something called the “Big Lie.”

A lot can change in a year. So we asked you about what you think is coming, to get a head start. 

Thousands of you took our one-year-out survey. Here’s what you said. 

He’s not going anywhere. While perennial also-rans like DeSantis, Ducey, Hawley, and Rubio are chomping at his heels, Trump is firmly planted at the head of the wreckage that is the GOP, more than half of you decided. Luckily we know exactly where Trump’s buttons are. Help us keep pushing them. 

Whether it’s party infighting or a messaging failure, few of you think Democrats will be able to pull off the many voting rights bills being thrown around the Hill, and many think the Big-Lie suppression campaign will have a negative impact on turnout. We’re one of the only ones still not letting the hypocrisy, the lies, the corruption slide. And that pressure energizes the voters who will keep the Trump mob out of the Speaker’s chair and the majority. 

Jobs are up. 401ks are up. GDP is up. Yet for hours every night, millions of Americans are lectured by Rupert Murdoch’s mouthpieces about one thing only: how gas prices are up. And somehow, it’s Joe Biden’s fault. This isn’t a policy failure – it’s a communication failure. It’s because Fox and Fascists control the conversation. And we’re the only ones who can speak to the people being Breitbart brainwashed.
