There are so many important issues demanding our attention right now. But I fail to see how any of them will matter without a planet to live on.
As you read this, the Trump administration is green lighting plans to revive the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline ... allow oil companies to raid Arctic wildlife habitats ... commence seismic blasting to find oil and gas reserves off our East Coast ... and gouge an open pit coal mine out of scenic land on the doorstep of Bryce Canyon National Park.
These climate-wrecking projects would shackle us to dirty fossil fuels for decades to come.
They must be stopped — and they will be stopped if you and I stand strong with NRDC right now. Help me send President Trump a message he cannot ignore: Abandon your radical fossil fuel agenda at once or prepare to face NRDC in federal court.
The Trump administration is not only ignoring clear warnings about fossil fuels and climate change, it's aggressively approving more oil, gas, and coal projects.
