House censures Rep. Gosar, ejects him from committees over video depicting slaying of Rep. Ocasio-Cortez
-- Washington Post
John,
Yesterday, the House voted to censure Representative Paul Gosar and remove him from his committee positions after he tweeted a violent video about Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
We are grateful the House is holding this dangerous representative accountable. This censure comes after a Rolling Stone article revealed Gosar met with planners of January 6 and offered them blanket pardons to encourage them to plan the protests.
The removal of Gosar from committee assignments is a step in the right direction, but we need him removed from Congress entirely. That's why we're working to defeat Gosar at the ballot box next year, and we're counting on your support to help us do it.
