As the climate crisis worsens, the future of the planet is in our hands.

Right now, it's specifically in the hands of our nation's 100 senators and 435 representatives. Congress passed a bipartisan Infrastructure bill and now it must pass the Build Back Better Act to make historic investments into combatting the climate crisis.

To safeguard the future of our species, we need to get the Build Back Better Act onto President Biden's desk as soon as possible. Investing in physical infrastructure was only the first step; now Congress must take action to safeguard the future of our species.

The time for action is now. Will you add your name urging Congress to pass this crucial bill without delay: [link removed]

If the United States doesn't lead on building a clean energy economy that works for all of us, we will be left behind. And, beyond that, we will continue to watch Americans suffer as the climate crisis creeps into each of our backyards.

I can tell you with certainty that the Build Back Better Act is the most important climate bill of my lifetime. It would make the largest investments into defeating the climate crisis in history. But for our nation and world to reap the benefits, Congress must pass this historic bill.

What we do over the next five years will determine our planet's fate. We simply can't afford to wait on Congress any longer. Our Washington state Senators, Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell, are leading the way to ensure Build Back Better is passed. Now they need the rest of Congress to step up.

Let's make sure Congress understands the true gravity and urgency of this moment for our country, world, and species. Add your name right now demanding Congress finally acts to pass the Build Back Better Act without further delay.

Let's meet this make-or-break moment with imagination and optimism.

Very truly yours,

Jay
