Friend,

My colleagues on the Democratic side of the aisle claim that the reconciliation bill currently in consideration before the Senate is “cost free” because it is “entirely paid for.”

Discerning readers might notice that those two sentences do mean the same thing. However, both the idea that the Reconciliation plan is paid for and the idea that it costs nothing are demonstrably false.
The simple fact of the matter is that the overwhelming majority of the Reconciliation Package is not paid for at all. This bill is tailor-made to increase the deficit by a whopping $1.75 Trillion dollars and increase taxes on Americans.

This is in addition to the $1.9 trillion already spent in the infrastructure bill and the $2.2 trillion spent in the Covid “relief” package. All told, if the Reconciliation plan passes Congress, we would have added nearly six trillion dollars in new spending in 2021 alone.

For context, Obamacare cost approximately $2.5 trillion over a much longer period. Why do Democrats think we can afford this?
Democrats are infatuated with big social spending schemes that they genuinely believe we can spend as much from our deficit as we like without consequences. But anybody who has balanced a monthly budget could tell you that isn’t the case!

We have to stop this madness! In 2022, we have a chance to take back Congress and stop the Democrat spending spree. Will you help me put a stop to raising taxes and increasing our debt?
For North Dakota and America,
