Next Thursday the 25th, hundreds of us will be gathering in-person in Chicago for the first time in over a year to celebrate the Palestine movement

Dear Email,

We are beyond ecstatic to bring together members and allies of Palestinian communities across the US for an unforgettable convention. Will we be seeing you there?

AMP’s 14th Annual Convention for Palestine in the US: On the Road to Free Palestine has released the convention’s highly anticipated program that will span over two days.

The main program will host insightful lectures on topics such as the Palestinian national project, solidarity movements nationally and locally, COVID-19 in Palestine, the reality of lobbying for Palestine in the US, the Israel lobby and Islamophobia, Palestinian entrepreneurship, and so much more. You can find the full program on our website here.

Authors, academics, activists, and leaders will join the largest gathering for Palestine in the US, including Sheikh Jarrah activist Mohamed Elkurd, American Muslim scholar and civil rights leader Imam Omar Suleiman, racial justice activist Linda Sarsour, author and speaker Miko Peled, Palestinian attorney Lamis Deek, award-winning filmmaker Ahmed Mansour, our very own Executive Director Dr. Osama Abuirshaid, and many more will share their insight and expertise on various dimensions of the Palestinian cause.

Watch this year's Palestine Convention trailer to see how things are changing and what you can do today!

For our college students, the Campus Activism Track (CAT) program is also good to go. This will include engaging programming on Palestine’s history and combatting Zionist myths, envisioning a Free Palestine, the surveillance and blacklisting apparatus that criminalizes Palestine advocacy, and the use of tools like BDS and social media in our movement. Hear from current and former student activists themselves; including Taher Herzallah, Dunia Ghanimeh, Sana Wazwaz, Malak Kanan, and many more. Click here to sign-up today!

The youth program will be filled with workshops and lectures, team building and competitions, movie nights and storytelling, debate sessions and so much more. It also includes the youth competition (with prizes!) that will showcase youth creative talents in presenting the Palestinian narrative. If you’re interested in submitting your work, be sure to do so by this Sunday! Click here to sign-up and learn more!

The convention will wrap up with an exciting entertainment night - which will surely be one to remember.

Sponsored by our friends at Islamic Relief USA, we will have special performances from renowned musicians, poets, comedians, and of course, some folkloric Palestinian dabka, featuring “Arab Idol” finalist Haitham Khalaily, Kefah Zreeqy, Samer ft. Waheeb Nasan, spoken word artist Ayah Chehade, poet Miriam Alammuri, and our emcee for the evening comedian Mohammad El-Attar.

Don't forget to check out our full program here. And if you haven’t already - buy your tickets today and book your trip to Chicago! We can’t wait to see you there.
