You probably saw Richard's message about our mid-month goal. If you didn't, here's the link to the video he shared.
Anyway, I know it's late, but the kids are finally down for bed, so I figured I'd reach out now to follow-up and share some late night thoughts if that's okay.
This month, our mid-month goal is specifically dedicated to a new fund -- the Stop The Seditious 7 Fund. (That's Brooks, Gosar, Biggs, Gohmert, Boebert, Cawthorn, and Greene.)
It's honestly scary to think that these seven people are elected members in the White House, leading our country, and making important decisions that impact people's daily lives.
Like really... actually consider the last time (prior to the Trump presidency) when we've had leaders who are THIS brazenly inflammatory and extreme?
Literally. We are talking about an actual CONGRESS MEMBER tweeting cartoons of himself murdering another member of Congress. An actual CONGRESS MEMBER detailing plans to launch a white supremacy caucus. Actual CONGRESS MEMBERS who were complicit in violent domestic terrorist attacks on our nation's Capitol Building.
Sure, there's no shortage of right-wing evil in the White House. We've got Cruz, McCarthy, Jordan, McConnell, and well, you get it, tons more.
But these SEDITIOUS 7 are the new face of the GQP -- MAGA, QAnon conspiracists who are emboldening far-right sentiment on a whole new level. Like so many extremists, they were empowered by the disgraced president Trump himself, and now they are here with a vengeance, carrying on his harmful legacy to new lows that even some of the most conservative Republicans haven't reached.
That's why we're dedicating our mid-month fundraising efforts directly to the Stop The Seditious 7 Fund. Because this fight is about more than defeating Republicans for the sake of party or even saving our majority... it's truly DANGEROUS having these reckless far-right radicals in office.
We've already endorsed candidates like Marcus Flowers to unseat Marjorie Taylor Greene and Josh Remillard to defeat Madison Cawthorn. And we're hoping to add even more. But we need your help.
So, I'm asking you this evening if you can pitch in anything right now to our Stop The Seditious 7 Fund so we can hit our mid-month goal by midnight and gain the necessary resources to get these hacks out of Congress. (We still have to raise another $2,821 to close the gap on time.)
