Dear Activist,
Just now, President Biden signed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal into law! Billions in funding is on its way to Massachusetts to repair roads and bridges, improve public transportation, and deliver clean water and high-speed internet to every resident of the Commonwealth.
Along with the Build Back Better Act, the second part of President Biden’s transformative agenda, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal will be one of Democrats' big wins heading into the 2022 midterm elections. Right now, we need your help spreading the word about these historic bills.
We’ve compiled the past few week’s guidance into one, easy-to-use toolkit on the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal and the Build Back Better Act. There’s plenty of shovel-ready content for you to use as an activist, local committee member, or committee chair. Scroll down for three ways you can use our toolkit to amplify Democrats' message online, in the news, or in conversations with friends, family, and neighbors.

2. Write a letter to the editor.

Letters to the editor can help reach people outside of your typical network. Use the tips below to write a letter to the editor highlighting the key details of the bills that will mean the most to you. Click here to view talking points to use in letters to the editor.
  • Tips on writing a letter to the editor:
    • Respond to something: a letter to the editor is more likely to get published if it directly addresses an article, editorial, or column from the last few days.
    • Keep it short: Letters to the editor should only be about 150 to 200 words.
    • Focus on one topic: You have limited space so focus on one topic and make a clear case to your readers.
    • Write what you know: Personal stories can make your letter more interesting.
    • Proofread: Before you send off your letter, check for typos, spelling, and grammar mistakes.

3. Spread the word!

Forward this email to your network and use the talking points in our toolkit in conversations with friends, family, and neighbors.
