Friend --

It's a part of life. You take the good with the bad.

- The good:? our fundraising amounts are up compared to this time last quarter.

- The bad:? we still don't have as much campaign money as our wealthy, self-funding competitors.

- The good:? we have a tremendous Lieutenant Governor running mate locked in.

- The bad:? we won't be announcing that individual's identity until after the holidays (so we can't use that announcement for fundraising this quarter).

- The good:? our track record, message, and vision for Illinois are unmatched by any of the other candidates (it isn't even close).

- The bad:? it will not matter unless we can get that information in front of the voters.

What's the hardest part of this campaign?? It is spending so much time away from home and my boys who are at the age where they need a father present.?

But constantly having to ask you--my friends--who have already been extremely generous for financial help is a close second.

The last quarter of the year is always the most difficult for fundraising. People are focused on the holidays.

But a holiday focus doesn't mean that you can't support me. The $25 or $50 dollar donations still add up. A $25 donation from everyone opening this email would result in us having our strongest fundraising quarter to date! And we do need your support to pay for advertising and staff salaries.

Our one-of-a-kind campaign baseball caps can make a great Christmas gift.? Each of our caps has our logo, embroidered in purple, on a desert digital camouflage pattern.? That's the camouflage pattern I wore when I deployed to Iraq.? Because the desert digital patterns vary, no two caps are alike.

When you order a campaign cap between now and the end of 2021, we will throw in a bumper sticker, as well.

Purchasing a campaign baseball cap is a "WIN-WIN."? You can give a friend a unique stocking-stuffer and help spread our message of "Commonsense Conservative Leadership We Can Trust."

You can buy a cap or donate here <[link removed]>.

As always, thank you for reading this, considering a donation, and working to improve our state and country.

Semper Fidelis,

Paul
