It’s not like we didn’t see this coming. Trump’s words at a North Carolina rally only amplify what we heard after Charlottesville, and what is in his heart: a belief that only white Americans can ever be true Americans.
To everyone else, he says “send them back.”

We also knew who this bully would seek out and target: women and people of color. He’s now focusing his rage on four courageous Members of Congress: Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley, and Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez.
“Send them back,” he says? Fine with us. Because we know where these brave women of color truly come from, and who they truly represent: the people of Minnesota, Michigan, Massachusetts and New York.
People’s Action members know them well, and we stand with them against these hateful attacks. Because we know who is truly strong: they are, and we are.
Join us as we stand up against Trump’s politics of division, and for real solutions in this country.
We also know what they stand for: Medicare For All, a Green New Deal, Housing For All and Free College For All.
These are their values, and our values, too. And together, we will win.
When Rep. Omar returned to Minnesota this week to lead a town hall about Medicare For All, People’s Action members were there to welcome her. And April, when we hosted a historic hearing on Capitol Hill, Rep. Pressley was there with us, too.
